獨樹一格的雋永之美

燈罩是從單一片平面的聚丙烯塑料板，以手工逐一沿著每條折線反覆凹折，方能製成一個美麗的多角面球體，其原創的摺線版型及獨特的工法呈現出與眾不同的造型美感，是無法以模具或其他機械生產方式所取代。以皮件的縫製技巧將燈罩以手穿針引線的方式做縫合，如此費工的手法就是為了讓整個球體難以看出接縫或重疊黏合的暗影，真正達到360度均勻透亮無暗影死角的極絕佳效果，除了觀賞無角度的限制也讓擺設更自由隨興。

沒有一般紙製燈罩容易黃或發霉生斑的問題，聚丙烯燈罩具有耐熱、耐化學性、耐衝擊的特性，而且容易清潔維護，平時只需要用毛刷輕輕將灰塵撢掉即可，特別髒的汙點可以用橡皮擦或輕輕擦拭即可去除；球體燈罩具有一定的結構強度，不易因撞擊而毀損，就算稍有碰撞產生凹陷，也可用手沿著折線將形狀推擠恢復成原狀。

多道工序淬鍊而成

為烘托球體燈罩而特別搭配窄身的多折面柱體黃銅燈座，整體視覺顯得輕盈雅致，但實際上黃銅燈座是相當沉甸有份量的，是由技術熟稔的台灣精密加工廠協力製作，從厚坯的黃銅管以車床、CNC成型機台經過多道工序切銷加工而成，後續順著水平方向手工打磨表面，細緻的髮絲紋理閃耀出溫潤內斂的光澤，更能帶出黃銅的原始素材之美。而黃銅會隨時間推移而逐漸形成如老件般迷人的氧化皮殼，或是可以定期以銅油擦拭保養的方式，讓黃銅燈座常保閃耀如新。底部使用耐用的NBR丁腈橡膠圈做為止滑，確保擺設穩固之外也能保護您的木質家具不會在挪動間被燈座刮傷；純牛皮熱燙的側標以手工縫合於燈座一側，搭配深棕色編織麻花線，與黃銅燈座相輔相成，共譜細膩的手作之美。

從燈泡座、支架、底板、鎖線扣都是扎扎實實的黃銅材質，所有不容易被看到的內部零組件我們也都下足了重本；不用來路不明的白牌燈泡，光源採用符合CNS國家準的OSRAM黃光LED省電燈泡，除了具有絕佳的演色性及15,000小時的長效壽命之外，還具有無藍光及不閃爍的護眼功能，非常適合近身作為閱讀或床頭擺設使用；燈具的零組件均有多項安規認證：CE認證的陶瓷燈座耐熱安全穩定性高；阻燃面料的的復古編織電線質感絕佳不易起毛；清脆俐落的開關具有多項歐規認證；採用優質台廠所製造的轉向插頭，符合台灣新版安規((R63608 RoHS))認證合格，插頭刃片及內部導銅片皆以無氧銅製作，並以黃銅華司沖壓鉚合，用料扎實且低抗阻導電穩定，插頭外殼以耐高溫的阻燃PC材質製成，非一般陸製中國規格的白牌插頭，確實為您的用電安全把關。

“STELLAR” is a perfect combination of modern origami technique and fine craftsmanship, designed to lit your home space with poetic aesthetic and elegance. The lamp shade is made from one singular PP sheet with score lines and manually hand folded into an origami sphere.  The lamp shade was closed by hand stiches in order to achieve 360 degree omni glow effect without dark shades of overlapping glue marks. This also allows you to place the lamp freely without limited viewing angles.

There are multi benefits of using PP sheet as lamp shade for its heat chemical and impact resistance qualities. Unlike most of the paper lamp shade are easily deformed or damaged, and also the yellowing and moldy problems caused by moisture. The lamp shade can be easily cleaned by using brush to dust it off gently, you can also use a rubber eraser to tackle the dirty spots or stains if needed. The lamp shade has sufficient structural strength for any accidental collision thanks to its beautiful and rigid origami folds. Even if there is a slight dent caused by collision, you can use hands to push the dent along the fold line to restore it to its original shape.

The narrow and faceted cylindrical brass stand is specially designed to emphasizing the origami lampshade on top. Proportionally the lamp looks light and elegant, but the brass stand is actually quite heavy and stable. The stand is made from a thick brass tube and carefully crafted by skilled local mechanists in Taiwan, went through multiple machining processes by using lathes and CNC machines. The fine brushed hairlines was manually polished by hands showcasing the brass shine in an elegant way. The brass stand will gradually forms oxidized layer on the outside over a period of time like a charming antique, or you can polish the stand with copper oil regularly to keep it shining. There’s a rubber ring installed at the bottom to prevent slipping, it also protecting your furniture from being scratched by the lamp holder. There is a leather tab hand stitched on the side of stand with a hot stamped logo, accompany with a nice and retro-looking dark brown braided wire.

Even those structural parts hidden inside of the lamp like bulb holder, bracket, bottom plate, and wire buckle are all made of solid brass. We use energy-saving LED bulbs from OSRAM, it is certified by CNS national safety standard. With its excellent color rendering ability and  15,000 hours of lifespan, also no blue light & flickering hazard for eye protection. Making STELLAR a perfect light source for reading or to be place by bedside. There’re multiple safety certifications in all components: CE-certified ceramic lamp holder is heat-resistant for safety. The braided wires are covered by high quality flame-retardant fabrics also resistant to pilling.  The power switch has multiple European safety certifications. Power plug is made by trusty local manufacturers certified by the national safety regulations (R63608 RoHS). The plug blades and internal conductors are all made of oxygen-free copper and riveted with brass washers for low resistance and stable conductivity performance. The casing is made of high-temperature resistant & flame-retardant PC material. All this to ensure electrical safety when using STELLAR.

使用注意事項

• 移動桌燈請握持黃銅底座，移動或重心改變導致燈罩若有往上位移，可以用手輕輕壓回燈座。
• 更換故障燈泡請參照更換>>示範影片<<之步驟即可正確地進行拆裝，如遇困難可透過客服e-mail(services@auracraft.mercury.floppydemo.us)與我們聯繫支援。
• 聚丙烯PP材質耐熱且質輕，被廣泛應用於各式食具或照明燈具之燈罩使用，但仍應遠離高溫熱源及明火至少100cm以上，如：爐具、蒸氣、香氛蠟燭、融蠟燈、電暖氣、暖風扇、保暖燈、鹵素燈、植物燈…等設備，接觸高溫仍舊會導致聚丙烯燈罩變形毀損，直火接觸亦會有引燃及燒融之危險，請務必留意。
• 嚴禁使用會發出高熱之光源，如：鎢絲燈、復古愛迪生燈泡、螺旋省電燈泡、植物燈泡，燈罩設計雖具有散熱對流機制，但高熱光源仍舊容易造成燈罩內蓄熱升溫，恐造成燈罩變形毀損。
• 欲更換之LED燈泡應注意總高度不得超過12cm，尺寸過長、過大的燈泡將會因接觸燈罩內壁產生干涉狀況，勢必連帶造成燈罩無法正常組裝回燈座之困擾。
• 建議更換燈泡應以同款或原規格為標的採購為佳，以達最佳照明效果。
• 如欲以銅油替黃銅燈座擦拭拋光之前，請務必關閉電源並移除插頭，並建議用紙張或紙膠帶將側皮標完整包覆防護，以避免皮標因接觸銅油而造成汙損。
• Please hold the brass base if you want to move the table lamp. If the lampshade moves upward due to movement or change in center of gravity, you can push it back down gently by hands.
• Please follow the instruction video to replace the LED light bulb, or contact us for further support via our customer service E-mail(services@auracraft.mercury.floppydemo.us).
• Polypropylene (PP) is heat-resistant and lightweight, and widely used in lampshades for various lighting fixtures. But the PP lamp shade should keeps at least 90cm away from heat sources, for example: stove, steam, fragrance candles, candle warmer, heater, warming lamp, halogen lamp…etc. High temperature will cause deformation, direct contact with flames may cause ignition and meltdown.
• High temperature light sources like tungsten light bulb, retro Edison bulb, spiral energy-saving bulb, plant growing bulb are strictly prohibited. Those light sources will causing heat accumulation and temperature rise inside the lampshade, which may cause deformation and damage to the lampshade.
• Only LED light bulbs are shorter than 12cm can be installed inside the lamp shade, there will be interference when putting longer or larger bulbs which will cause the lampshade unable to be properly assembled back into the stand.
• Highly recommend to replace with the same bulb from OSRAM or similar specs ensuring the best lighting performance.
• Before using copper oil to polish the brass stand, be sure to turn off the power and remove the plug. It is recommended to completely cover the leather tab with paper or paper tape to prevent from being stained by copper oil.
