獨樹一格的雋永之美

燈罩是從單一片平面的聚丙烯塑料板，以手工逐一沿著每條折線反覆凹折，方能製成一個美麗的多角面球體，其原創的摺線版型及獨特的工法呈現出與眾不同的造型美感，是無法以模具或其他機械生產方式所取代。以皮件的縫製技巧將燈罩以手穿針引線的方式做縫合，如此費工的手法就是為了讓整個球體難以看出接縫或重疊黏合的暗影，真正達到360度均勻透亮無暗影死角的極絕佳效果，除了觀賞無角度的限制也讓擺設更自由隨興。

沒有一般紙製燈罩容易黃或發霉生斑的問題，聚丙烯燈罩具有耐熱、耐化學性、耐衝擊的特性，而且容易清潔維護，平時只需要用毛刷輕輕將灰塵撢掉即可，特別髒的汙點可以用橡皮擦或輕輕擦拭即可去除；球體燈罩具有一定的結構強度，不易因撞擊而毀損，就算稍有碰撞產生凹陷，也可用手沿著折線將形狀推擠恢復成原狀。

溫潤內斂的質材之美

燈罩頂端以黃銅圓蓋做收尾來與唯美的球體燈罩產生冷暖的質材對比。圓蓋是從黃銅鑄造件以車床精密切削而成，厚實有份量，表面順著水平方向手工打磨出細緻的髮絲紋理，閃耀出黃銅特有溫潤內斂的質材光澤。表面施以抗氧化噴塗防護，讓黃銅尾蓋能隔絕空氣避免氧化生銅鏽，不須費心照料即可常保如新。搭配高質感的深棕色編織麻花線，與黃銅尾蓋相輔相成，共譜細膩的手作之美。

 

真材實料安心可靠

從燈泡座、支架、底板、鎖線扣、吸頂盤都是扎扎實實的黃銅材質，連平常不容易被看到的內部零組件我們也都下足了重本；不用來路不明的白牌燈泡，光源採用符合CNS國家準的OSRAM自然光LED省電燈泡，除了具有絕佳的演色性及15,000小時的長效壽命之外，還具有無藍光及不閃爍的護眼功能；燈具的零組件均有多項安規認證：CE認證的陶瓷燈座耐熱安全穩定性高；阻燃面料的的復古編織電線質感絕佳不易起毛。

“STELLAR” is a perfect combination of modern origami technique and fine craftsmanship, designed to lit your home space with poetic aesthetic and elegance. The lamp shade is made from one singular PP sheet with score lines and manually hand folded into an origami sphere.  The lamp shade was closed by hand stiches in order to achieve 360 degree omni glow effect without dark shades of overlapping glue marks. This also allows you to place the lamp freely without limited viewing angles.

There are multi benefits of using PP sheet as lamp shade for its heat chemical and impact resistance qualities. Unlike most of the paper lamp shade are easily deformed or damaged, and also the yellowing and moldy problems caused by moisture. The lamp shade can be easily cleaned by using brush to dust it off gently, you can also use a rubber eraser to tackle the dirty spots or stains if needed. The lamp shade has sufficient structural strength for any accidental collision thanks to its beautiful and rigid origami folds. Even if there is a slight dent caused by collision, you can use hands to push the dent along the fold line to restore it to its original shape.

The cylindrical brass end cap is specially designed to emphasizing the origami lampshade, creating an interesting material contrast between brass & off-white plastic. The solid & heavy end cap was machined by lathes from die-cast brass part. The fine brushed hairline was manually polished by hands with an elegant shine to itself. Coated with clear paint to avoid oxidation on brass surface, therefore it always stays shining as good as new. Accompany with a nice and retro-looking dark brown braided wire at the rear end.

Even those structural parts hidden inside of the lamp like bulb holder, bracket, bottom plate, and wire buckle are all made of solid brass. We use energy-saving LED bulbs from OSRAM, it is certified by CNS national safety standard. With its excellent color rendering ability and  15,000 hours of lifespan, also no blue light & flickering hazard for eye protection. Making STELLAR a perfect light source for reading or to be place by bedside. There’re multiple safety certifications in all components: CE-certified ceramic lamp holder is heat-resistant for safety. The braided wires are covered by high quality flame-retardant fabrics also resistant to pilling.

STELLAR is versatile pendant light which can be used in residential or commercial spaces. It can be installed on both sides of the bed or above the dining table. It is suitable for commercial spaces such as cafes, dessert shops, bookstores, restaurants and pubs, B&Bs or public spaces. STELLAR is always the focal points no matter it’s singular or multiple setup. Even when the light is off, it looks like an origami sculpture with fascinating shades and reflections. When the light is on, it diffuses warm and penetrating light through the ridges like a glowing stellar.

使用注意事項

• 更換故障燈泡請參照更換示範影片之步驟即可正確地進行拆裝，如遇困難可透過客服e-mail(services@auracraft.mercury.floppydemo.us)與我們聯繫支援。
• 聚丙烯PP材質耐熱且質輕，被廣泛應用於各式食具或照明燈具之燈罩使用，但仍應遠離高溫熱源及明火至少100cm以上，如：爐具、蒸氣、香氛蠟燭、融蠟燈、電暖氣、暖風扇、保暖燈、鹵素燈、植物燈…等設備，接觸高溫仍舊會導致聚丙烯燈罩變形毀損，直火接觸亦會有引燃及燒融之危險，請務必留意。
• 嚴禁使用會發出高熱之光源，如：鎢絲燈、復古愛迪生燈泡、螺旋省電燈泡、植物燈泡，燈罩設計雖具有散熱對流機制，但高熱光源仍舊容易造成燈罩內蓄熱升溫，恐造成燈罩變形毀損。
• 小吊燈欲更換LED燈泡時，應注意燈泡總高度不得超過12cm，尺寸過長、過大的燈泡將會因接觸燈罩內壁產生干涉狀況，勢必連帶造成燈罩無法正常組裝回尾蓋之困擾。XL大吊燈因尺寸較大無此限制。
• 建議更換燈泡應以同款或原規格為標的採購為佳，以達最佳照明效果。

• Polypropylene (PP) is heat-resistant and lightweight, and widely used in lampshades for various lighting fixtures. But the PP lamp shade should keeps at least 90cm away from heat sources, for example: stove, steam, fragrance candles, candle warmer, heater, warming lamp, halogen lamp…etc. High temperature will cause deformation, direct contact with flames may cause ignition and meltdown.
• High temperature light sources like tungsten light bulb, retro Edison bulb, spiral energy-saving bulb, plant growing bulb are strictly prohibited. Those light sources will causing heat accumulation and temperature rise inside the lampshade, which may cause deformation and damage to the end cap.
• Only LED light bulbs are shorter than 12cm can be installed inside the small size lamp shade, there will be interference when putting longer or larger bulbs which will cause the lampshade unable to be properly assembled back into the end cap.
• Highly recommend to replace with the same bulb from OSRAM or similar specs ensuring the best lighting performance.
